Mississippi Christmas

Forget New Orleans, Gulfport Mississippi is the real disaster area. My aunt and uncle moved to Diamondhead just before Katrina and were left with a soggy house and not much else. They were the lucky ones though; at least they don't have to live in a FEMA trailer. They did have to eat MREs (Meals, Ready to Eat) for a few months. Yummy! If you should ever come across the box labled: A, meals 12 -24, try to avoid the Beefsteak dinner -- even if it does come with Tootsie Rolls for dessert.
